Art Directors Guild Awards 2016, nomination: i vincitori uscenti tutti candidati

ADG Awards 2016: Game Of Thrones, Silicon Valley, True Detective, American Horror Story e The Big Bang Theory cercheranno di bissare il successo dello scorso anno.

Sono state annunciate a Los Angeles le nomination della ventesima edizione degli Art Directors Guild Awards, l’evento che premia l’eccellenza nella scenografia cinematografica e televisiva.

Nelle categorie televisive spicca lo scontro tra il tre volte consecutivo vincitore Game of Thrones e The Knick (candidati entrambi per la scenografia di ben tre episodi). C’è grande incertezza nella categoria One-Hour Contemporary Single-Camera Series, dove sia il vincitore dello scorso anno, True Detective, che Better Call Saul e Homeland sono state candidate grazie alle scenografie di ben tre episodi. Tenteranno di bissare il successo anche Silicon Valley nella categoria Half Hour Single-Camera Television Series, The Big Bang Theory nella categoria Multi-Camera Television Series e American Horror Story Hotel nella categoria Movie or Mini-Series.

Nella cerimonia di premiazione, che si svolgerà al Beverly Hilton il 31 gennaio 2016, verranno insigniti del premio alla carriera il regista David O. Russell, l’artista scenico Bill Anderson, il matte painter Harrison Ellenshaw, il set designer William J. Newmon II e la scenografa Patriza von Brandenstein.
