NAACP Image Awards 2014, nomination: Scandal guida con 5 candidature, davanti a Grey’s Anatomy e Boardwalk Empire

Tra le serie tv bene anche la serie BET Real Husbands of Hollywood e le comedy The Soul Man, The Game e House of Lies.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People ha annunciato i nominati agli NAACP Image Awards 2014, i riconoscimenti che premiano gli artisti afroamericani e sudamericani che si sono distinti nel cinema, nella televisione, nella musica e nella letteratura nel 2013.

Nelle categorie seriali Scandal guida con cinque candidature (miglior drama, Kerry Washington migliore attrice, Guillermo Diaz, Joe Morton e Columbus Short miglior attori non protagonisti) insieme alla comedy BET Real Husbands of Hollywood, seguita da Grey’s Anatomy con quattro nomination (miglior drama, Chandra Wilson migliore attrice, James Pickens migliore attore, Debbie Allen migliore attrice non protagonista), e The Game, The Soul Man, Boardwalk Empire e House of Lies con tre nomination ciascuna.

Tra le nuove serie si segnalano gli ingressi di Almost Human (Michael Ealy migliore attore), Sleepy Hollow (Nicole Beharie migliore attrice) e Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Andre Braugher).
