Creative Emmy 2016 – Seconda parte: Archer miglior serie animata, 4 premi per Making a Murderer e Grease Live

Tutti i premiati della prima giornata dei Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2016. Margo Martindale miglior guest star in un drama per The Americans

Update lunedì 12: come anticipato, ieri sera, domenica 11 settembre, si è svolta la seconda serata di premiazione dei Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2016. Making a Murderer di Netflix e Grease Live di Fox ottengono 4 statuette ciascuno, mentre Archer di FX ottiene la sua prima vittoria come miglior serie animata (in fondo all’articolo l’elenco con tutti i premi assegnati e i vincitori delle due serate). Seconda statuetta per Crazy Ex-Girlfriend che vince per le coreografie. Per quanto riguarda i canali, HBO arriva alla serata di domenica 18 con già 16 premi conquistati, seguita da FX Networks con 12, più staccate PBS e FOX con 6.

Domenica 18 settembre come ogni anno ad inaugurare la nuova stagione televisiva americana, saranno consegnati gli Emmy Awards 2016 (in Italia la cerimonia sarà trasmessa da Rai 4). Come ogni anno la settimana precedente vengono consegnati i 68° Creative Arts Emmys, divisi in due appuntamenti, sabato dieci e domenica 11 settembre.

Tre novità Mr Robot, Jessica Jones e Crazy Ex-Girlfriend aprono la cerimonia vincendo le loro prime statuette tra premi per attori guest star e premi tecnici che caratterizzano questa tornata di premiazioni. In particolare Jessica Jones di Netflix ha vinto per il miglior Tema Musicale originale, mentre Crazy Ex-Girlfriend di The CW ha vinto un premio per la fotografia Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Comedy Series. Due riconoscimenti, seppur tecnici, per due serie sottovalutate dalle giurie della cerimonia. Per Mr Robot si tratta invece della prima di una, presumibile, lunga serie di premi, essendo nominata anche come miglior Serie Drammatica, miglior Attore e per la sceneggiatura, con buone possibilità di ottenerne almeno una. Nella serata di ieri il compositore Mac Quayle ha ottenuto il premio per la miglior “music composition” per una serie drammatica per il primo episodio “eps1.0_ hellofriend. mov”.

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, arrivata a queste premiazioni con ben 22 nomination, solo una in meno di Game of Thrones, torna a casa con 4 premi per il miglior cast per una serie limitata, per le acconciature per una serie limitata, per il “picture editing” e per il sound mixing. trucco; mentre American Horror Story: Hotel vince due premi per il make-up e per i costumi, sempre per una serie limitata.

Sono ben nove invece i premi conquistati da Game of Thrones, nuovo record dopo gli otto dello scorso anno: casting, costumi, make up sia con protesi che senza, production design, per gli stunt, picture editing per un drama, sound mixing e effetti visivi. Sorprendente anche il premio a Tina Fey & Amy Poehler che vincono come migliori guest star in una serie comedy, per la loro conduzione di una puntata del Saturday Night Live.

Game of Thrones

Tra gli altri attori, miglior attore guest star in una comedy è risultato Peter Scolari per Girls che aveva preso il posto di Peter MacNicol inzialmente candidato per Veep (che ha vinto per il miglior cast) ma poi escluso per il minutaggio eccessivo della sua partecipazione nella serie. Hank Azaria per Ray Donovan è il miglior attore in un drama, mentre Margo Martindale ha vinto per The Americans. Fargo, che ha un totale di 18 nomination, ha vinto per il picture editing per una serie limitata. Vince anche The Man in the High Castle per i titoli di apertura della serie e la cinematography.
